Ok.  You want to know more about me...  What to tell?  Let's see....  *hour glass turns over head as I think of what to type*

I've been married for 5 years to my wonderful husband Rob.  We met in 1995 while he was stationed at Ft. Stewart, GA.  I grew up in the area and was volunteering that summer at a day camp for kids with disabilites on post.  His unit's detail was to be camp counselors for the camp.  He and I had the same camper, became friends, and 3 years later we got married.  The first year I spent finishing up college then joined him in Hawaii.  *sighs*  It was a wonderful 2 years.  We adopted our fur-daughter Gemina.  She is a bullmastiff/neopolitan mastiff mix.   She's a daddies girl.  :-)  Ok, some of you may think referring to a dog or other animal as a child is odd, but then you don't know the love and joy they bring to your life.  Anyhow.

We are now back in Georgia and the past two years have definately been whirlwind.   Rob went to Kosovo for six months, I had our first child - Xavier - we've bought a house, and we've made a few new friends.  I now spend my days trying to keep up with a toddler and a dog.   :-)  And some people wonder why I'm always so exhausted.  Try chasing a bundle of energy all day long!  We have recently discovered the joys of "Shrek."  Xavier loves the movie.  He sits enthralled watching it over and over again.  Rob and I can quote the entire thing.  But its cute to watch Xavier watch it.  He laughs at all the right spots, dances to the fast paced songs, and is quiet when something suspenseful is happening.  Its like he really understands what is going on.

I can often be found curled up in my favorite chair with a book.  Give me something by Anne Rice, Patricia Cornwell, Kathy Reichs, Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan or Laurell K. Hamilton and I'm good.  Recently I've also started reading books on Druidism, Celtism, and Wicca trying to expand my mind, and spirituality in this tumutuous time.  And when I can get a group of friends together I love to sit down and play D&D or Magic: The Gathering, though I haven't really played Magic in quite some time.   Its not as much fun with just Rob and I to play.  *sigh*

Anyhow.  That's enough for now.  Maybe I'll add more later, or you can go to my blog and read more of the day to day stuff.
